Shut off the lights
lock yourself apart
from life

And never leave
till you find life
again

Turn every fear
to joy, then back
till it turns
to something else

In that exhaustion
tranquility will swarm
like a wave rising to fall
and beneath it
when your last breath
descends to rest
you'll find aside your death
A love that's birthed
from all that's left

You'll have drug the eternal love out from you
You'll have seen it encompass the ego
Then you must enternalize
that experience back inside of you,
and return.
