(((If Tomorrow Never Comes))) Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

(((If Tomorrow Never Comes)))

Rating: 4.0

The night 'tis long and forboding...
Its blackness blankets my mind-
Weakness surmounts as sorrows accounts...
For the bleak questions and answers i find;

Dizzying night swirls into the throb-
That 'tis pulsating inside of my head-
While the candle in my soul 'tis dimming out low...
And i wonder if i am nearly dead;

Illness 'tis but a dis-ease...
An unease of all once working parts...
Eaten alive by super cells that survive...
While tearing to pieces my fragile heart;

If tomorrow never comes for me...
If i am swallowed up by a malignant night...
And all evils of the day have come my way-
Let it be known-that i didn't leave without a fight;

LET IT BE KNOWN-THAT / I DIDN'T LIVE WITHOUT A FIGHT Yes Poet If there is another civilisation emerges from the womb of time, the creatures will know that here was a Poet who created such a line for the human being. LIVE thousand years more and write so many lines for us who live on the blade-line of no-life. 10+ pranb
