    A memory, that brings out a reflection of what you are doing in your life. Beautiful poem, and with her memory. (Report) Reply

    At last a poem to relish and appreciate, great flow and such wonderful touching lines....it is so exceptional to me as a mother as sometimes as we get older we become a bit lost and for the child she brought into the world to turn around and consider her in such an unselfish compassionate way, to almost take her hand and say (live it like I did!) gorgeous touching write and congratulations on poem of the day... i can totally see why this was chosen...tyvm karen (Report) Reply

    A beautiful, artfully worded piece that makes a powerful impression on the reader with few words and simple ideas, rather like some of my own poems.
    Indeed, even though we may plan out each day to the finest detail, it is not in our hands to decide when the last of our days on earth will be...and because of this, we must treasure each and every second we have with our loved ones, since nothing lasts forever. A heartfelt write anyone can connect with,10++ from me.

poet Sir John Suckling

Dost see how unregarded now
That piece of beauty passes?
There was a time when I did vow
To that alone;
But mark the fate of faces;
