    An excellent poem Adeline and very well written in
    short verses. Surely there is a God who knows it
    all and who also rules the Earth. Well done my poet
    friend. (Report) Reply

    : -) A free for all. A chaotic world. Every man for himself. No datum or yardstick, everything subjective & interpreted as per one's own convenience. Too true! ! (Report) Reply

    I believe that if there was no god, there would be no war, scientific advancements would come uncontrollably, there would less racism, and man would be able to look at the stars and not think of letting god do all the work but helping to move humanity forward. (Report) Reply

    If there be a God he needs to make an appearance now. We and nature are in dire straits.
    A truly provocative poem of depth..My faith is in an uneasy mode (Report) Reply

    Astute and unflinching reasoning. Concise writing. This poem stands straightedged in the winds of thought. (Report) Reply

    Pascal's Wager fits this poem's meaning. I like the poem for its flow and reaffirmation of faith. (Report) Reply

That there's some corner of a foreign field
That is for ever England. There shall be
In that rich earth a richer dust concealed;
