If She Were A Man Poem by Ratnakar Mandlik

If She Were A Man

Rating: 5.0

</>She is good looking but not beautiful
She is masculine and too handsome.
Oh she is a queen and not shameful
The shyness is off from her inner room.

She looks sometimes like a rose
She is a Rosaline then I suppose
But I can not determine or propose
Her as she rose rather than he rose.

When other damsels are eager to be loved
She unhesitatingly rejects her beloved.
When dreams are full of love and lover
Of other lasses, she dreams of her career.

Persons of eminence are mad of her elegance
But her stony heart to none gave a chance
To be repaid their feelings for loving her
She responded never to her genuine lover.

How to reach upto her inner rooms' bottom
Is a riddle difficult and to solve troublesome.
In one more and this matter she is a woman
Insidious & is difficult to get her fully known.

Being a damsel is unknown to her manly love
To none she responds so we have to believe.
But if she were a man and not a woman
Definitely at this stage she had to mourn.
