If Part(1) Poem by Alexander Joeseph

If Part(1)

If this earth would let me be and bound me not, heart and might to his will and for an hour am let gone, yonder welkin, to God.should i speak up my mind? Oh God have mercy.but i must tell him'you see, i believe you know well, the evil men keep on reaping, the defenceless are maimed for the little they have and smack in spite, for their own right.and thou knows how the poor toils, in seasons long, our paddles are our food.we bear with patient and take our share with contention; though mild our praises be to you for the daily breads, yet we say it in one mind and full abundance.and yet you allow one evil heart take our sweat in a tangent, and yet you let him be, even till tomorrow.why not halt, all for once, those who think they can trample others as they wish, why let the ardent rains fall on them and the roving birds in the groves sing sonorous to their wicked hearings? if only i could go up, i had just go up and tell him how i feel.
