If Only To Serve..... Poem by Minnie Gehrig

If Only To Serve.....

I am sick,
feel the pulls of nausia,
pulling me down,
and the absinthe dreams,
of nights that
come in go in the
silent throes of her passion,
the goddess inside me
rises to the pinnacle,
a fiery phoniex spreading her wings,
engulfing her human body,
in 100 degree fever pitch,
i am left in the smoke,
purley engulffed in it,
resting now for 8 hours straight,
sleep like the beauty,
sleep like death,

dreaming of you,
all these pathways and passages,
pledged as i am to the goddess,
casting minuture spells of health,
over my passing waves of lonliness,
shaking off the fatigue of yesterday,
when i flew high and over this american dream,
and into caves of smoke and fire,
waking up now
from exhausting chases of the stag,
the god demands so much of me,
and i doing my best,
some pure hearted concubine,
if only to serve..............
