If Only I'D Walked This Way Before Poem by Brian Stafford

If Only I'D Walked This Way Before

Rating: 5.0

If only I'd walked this way before,
Instead of walking past the door,
What things would I have found,
Would I be walking on new ground,
What things would I have seen.
Places where others haven't been,
Would my eyes have been opened,
And my head have been motioned,
A mind in tranquil liberation,
And wallowing in clear deliberation,
A collection of words catch the eye,
As transparent thoughts go floating by,
A fresh accumulation of new ideas,
A collage of perfection that appears,
If only I'd walked this way before,
And chanced upon another door.

What if? I wonder how many have asked themselves that question? A lovely poem, great rhythm and rhyme, a truly entertaining read.

my favorite lines: A collection of words catch the eye, As transparent thoughts go floating by, thanks for sharing, and thanks for the inspiration. bri :) Another Door Brian Stafford dreams of what might have been, if only a different door he'd found and entered in. In MY life I truly stumbled, (some people might say) , but i'm quite well satisfied..... as I near the end of my day. Fate! ?
