If love was a story book,
We'd meet on the very first page.
No fake or unreal issues,
Just chapters marking our days.
How we met and grew,
How we came to be.
Oh if love was a story book,
It'd be all about you and me.
Our silly pictures crowd,
Both of the covers.
We would show our ways,
Of innocent lovers.
Late night texts,
And nothing more than hugs.
Smiles and jokes we have,
That's how we love.
If love was a story book,
Oh all the things I'd write.
The way we looked at eachother,
That one long night.
We're above the influence,
And keeping it clean.
With you in your back yard,
Better than any dream.
Oh if our love was a story book.
