If Love Was A Person Poem by tallulah montegue

If Love Was A Person

Rating: 5.0

If LOVE was a person
Employed to pair off people for a reason
Love has done a miserable job of seeing
The Inefficiencies everywhere in us human beings

Love would have been fired
If it ran a club, an organization a company or country
Love would have been considered
The dumbest being ever hired

The world is full of broken hearts
Broken marriages
Broken lovers
Broken friendships

The world is full of the unloved
The abandoned
The deserted
The emotionally tortured
The physically beaten

Unrequited love is a sad feeling
Painful beyond compare
But human beings are resilient
Once healed will gamble on love again and again
