If I Was Tall Poem by Joseph Tierney

If I Was Tall

Rating: 4.5

If I was tall, I could see
The world falling away
From me
If I was tall, I could see
Plumes of smoke and all
At sea
If I was tall, I could see
The coward’s slap and
Bended knee
If I was tall, I could see
The push for peace,
The bravery
But I am small and cannot see
Above the crowd in front of me.

Indeed, point of view depends on perspective, that is, what you see depends on where you are standing. An insightful depiction of poetry, nicely encapsulated and well penned. Thanks for sharing Joseph. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.

Thank you Jole. I've been reading your work and will comment in due course but you do have a great ear for the sound of words and original construction.
