If I Ruled The World Poem by Audrey Heller

If I ruled the world, it would be a world
filled with peace and brotherly love, as
that's what we're all deserving of! We've
had enough hatred, violence and adversity,
for so many years, it's about time, we stop
and wash away, the bitter tears! It would be
wonderful, to see people laugh and smile
again, as no one, should live in fear, of
what lies ahead. It's quite disheartening,
when one is faced, with constant dread!
If I ruled the world, all these would cease
to be. I'd never for one moment give up,
until I restored peace, love and most of
all, harmony!
