If I Fall Poem by John Griffiths

If I Fall

If I fall while half asleep,
I know that I can fly.
When the barriers have been lifted,
And I soar towards the sky.

I can feel a sense of freedom,
When my body’s left behind,
As I leave my earthly problems,
In the confines of my mind.

My thoughts are now the answer,
When the boundaries are no more,
As I move within my inner self,
And the universal law.
