If I Die Before I Wake Poem by Samuel Flockhart

If I Die Before I Wake

To? ? ? ?

If only you saw yourself through my eyes
My best friend was a Goddess
With friendship, I was content.
You were a dream I would never deserve

If only you could feel your warmth touch my soul
Your innocence was inspiring
Beside you I longed for goodness

If only you had felt the same way
I would give you the world
You were the only one who ever mattered

If only you were here with me now
I had so much love to give
Now it is wasted.
