If I Could Tell You Poem by Atticus Mortimer

If I Could Tell You

Rating: 5.0

If I could describe,
what I feel to you,
It would emerge like a tsunami,
crashing over everything,
and causing awesome after thoughts in its wake,
and if I could tell you,
why I love you,
It would engulf you in warmth
and waves of adoration and loving thoughts,
filling you up with love,
but if I could tell you
why I hate you,
it would be like,
a sword driven through the heart,
by a trusted lover,
so if I could actually,
verbalize any of this,
you would have to stand back,
and wonder,
in sheer awe,
at my emotions
