If I Could Fly Poem by Pride Young

If I Could Fly

If I could fly,
I would have needed no one to rely,
I would have travelled the whole world,
And would have been surrounded with girls having hair curled,
I would have helped the armed force,
By giving them information about the foreign corps.

If I could Fly,
I would have reached the sky,
I would have become a superhero,
Like Superman, Batman, Heman or just Hero,
I would have saved many lives,
And wouldn’t have feared guns and knives,
But, to become a superhero,
I don’t only need powers,
But also like Batman, Brain Showers.

If I could fly with supersonic speed,
Earplugs and armour would have been my first need,
It’d be like a dream come true,

To fly without an aero plane crew,
To fly is my heart’s greatest desire,
But let’s see if it comes true,
Or (burns me in its fire) leaves me as a mad dreamer.
