If I Poem by Elena Sandu

If I

If I could be a little stone
on the graveyard you pass
would you give me a glance?

If I could be one of the trees
you go by everyday
under my shade would you stay?

If, one of the buildings
you walk nearby, I'd be
Would you come in for a tea?
