If He Knows Poem by VEDA ARTHA

If He Knows

If he knows that my love is eternal
and not like a quid pro quo conditional,
may be he would have been there
to have those moments of care.

If he knows that I said him to go
As I don't wanted him to be slow
in a life of his, with umpteen dreams
and millions of evergreen hopes.

If he knows that I am on the dusky road
where we parted, remembering that I was loved
With all essence of womanhood, gently cared
in the hope that you will come back
and my love and life will be ensured
your affection and care, a smile assured.
