If... Poem by Amin Ilelah

If...

If by inspiration
Ishould let to feel
The agony of child labour
I wouldn't have arroused
The pleasure in my woman
To carry the burden of my child

If by inspiration
The manace the child
Might caused the society
I'd have starilised myself
It'll be better to live
And die childless
If there will be no joy
In ones successor

If by ispiration
I had the vision
I wouldn't have vowed to come
To this world to stray, suffering
though I dreaded pessimism
No one has power over yesterday
Nay certain about tomorrow
'what is going to be, is going to be '
One lives by wishes
And die by fate!
