I love you
From the depths 
Of my heart
Would be what
 I'd Like to say
 If there was someone 
Who could listen with her heart 
Feeling the pulsation of love 
Rise and fall with every word spoken
Of my revelry to her life in mine
But as I look around
I find the sounds of the crickets 
And not her voice with words 
Of her revelry to my life in hers
Now with emptiness 
I live to wait upon the day 
That frees me from loneliness 
Bonded to the one
I love
