If Poem by sandra brown wright

If

If I could have you I know what I'd do this time I'd be true,
If I had you I'd walk that straight line,
If you could be mine there would be no more bad times,
If I could hold you tight I'd have the world tonight,
If I had the world tonight then I would of never made the worst
mistake of my life,
I'm the fool and I hope it's not to late I still hope there is some fate,
If there is any fate left give me a sign of hope and believe me I have
hope,
If you gave the dope up we might have a better chance of fixing our
relationship.
