Idealists, The Fortunate Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

Idealists, The Fortunate

Children live in a world of fantasy.
There happen things according to their wish.
Frail angels save the child from the witches.
God comes down and eliminate demons.

Ideologists live in fantasy.
They expect things according to their wish.
Heroes win heroines’ hand and villains fall.
Truth triumphs; justice prevails; the wicked fall.

Realists believe more in reality.
They hope for the good fear for the worst.
Melodrama, supernatural things,
Superstition and omens will not move them.

Some are idealists; some are realists.
All are sometimes idealists or realists.
The one who is idealist by nature
Is seen to enjoy one’s life a great deal.
