Idealand

There always was a me
Then ideals came along
Said the past is gone
You're now a part of me.

I said the past is not as strong
But in me still lives on
I'm not a part of Idealand
Idealand's a part of me.

i·de·al īˈdē(ə) l/ noun plural noun: ideals a person or thing regarded as perfect. you're my ideal of how a man should be synonyms: perfection, paragon, epitome, shining example, ne plus ultra, nonpareil, dream no woman could be the ideal he imagined for himself a standard of perfection; a principle to be aimed at. tolerance and freedom, the liberal ideals synonyms: model, pattern, exemplar, standard, example, paradigm, archetype, prototype; yardstick, lodestar an ideal to aim at principle, standard, value, belief, conviction, persuasion; morals, morality, ethics, ideology, creed a liberal ideal ==================================== YOU, the reader, decide which definition to use! ! at first i read Idealand as Idea land, but i guess i was wrong, except as ideals may be ideas. favorite lines: I'm not a part of Idealand Idealand's a part of me.......................but, do i hear: me, Me, ME! ! ! me too. bri ;)
