Ideal Places Poem by Danny Draper

Ideal Places

On deck
A sun drenched yacht,
On an unbroken sea.

Aloft
On a stack of freshly cut hay,
In a secluded barn.

Isolated
In a field of colour and perfume,
Wild flowers.

Covered
In darkness a warm sandy beach,
A hot summers' night.

Snowed
In a chalet with hearth rug and fire,
No cold comes inside.

Anywhere
Anytime and anyplace as long as you and I,
Are together forever.
