Icy Road Of Emptyness, And Sadness Poem by Noah Ort

hes slowly slipping
down a dark and thoughtless street
the garbage cans of failure hit him in the face
and thats all he can see

i dont blame him for trying it
when sadness is all we see what can we do to get out of it
i turned to god the everlasting
he turned to people, fickle in all their ways

since then ive gotten stronger in the lord
he has gotten weaker
as everyone broke his heart
he sees that, but he wont change

not by my hand, but the lords,
so this is a prayer to the almighty
that he will show my friend the truth
that i love him and so does God

his disillusion is because of the devil,
so i pray to God that i can be used by God to get him out of this.........this.....nothingness
