Ice Flower Poem by Bing Hua

Ice Flower

Ice Flower
By Rose Lu
Tr. by Richard Tornello

I'm an ice flower
Blooming in the bitter cold.
How much I wish you were the sun
And in your hands make the freezing mist melt away.

But you lost that glow of the sun and lost it forever
And like the wild winter wind
Your words whipped that sparking and crystal clear me.

I feel so cold and broken,
I can barely speak if only to say
A broken frozen flower is still a flower
And no matter what,
To you, my love still is.

V1:

Ice Flower

I'm an ice flower
Blooming in the bitter cold
How much I wish you were the Sun
And made the chilly mist melt away in the hollow of your hand

But you changes into a breath wind
And whipped the sparkling and crystal-clear me
Oh! Broken I'm. feeling so cold, but I couldn't utter a word
A broken ice flower is still a flower
But you lost the glow of Sun and lost it forever.

I can still say
That my love hasn't thawed
However you're no longer him.
A broken ice flower is still a flower

In the benumbing cold hard to find an ice flower that bloomed like a crystal and melted again to bloom
