I Write A Few: Lines

I WRITE A FEW LINES

I write a few lines
Before I leave the house
The lines give me courage and hope
They don't mean much of course
No one cares for them
And there have been so many other lines
But writing them is my best form of self-delusion
My hope
And I have to live after all until I die
And better a bit of hope and self -delusion
Than the vast nothingness of doing nothing and believing
I am worthless-
Unable to give anything by my words.
