I Would Often Wonder Poem by Paradise Lopez

I Would Often Wonder

I would often sit and wonder of how different my life would be.
If you never came into my life and became a part of me.

I would often sit and wonder of what would I have done.
If ever you would leave your family to start a brand new one.

I would often ask myself, If I could live life all alone,
To have to be not only mom, but as daddy on my own.

I would often sit and wonder of how it was before.
But to have to go through it again, I just can't take it anymore.

I would often sit and wonder of lifes best offerings.
Knowing that there's more to life then all this suffering.

I would often remind myself that I did not need a man.
To help me raise my family, cause shh I know I can.

It's just the thought to be alone that really gets to me.
But then again, it won't be long till love comes finding me.

One day you'll wake up to realize what you did to me was wrong.
But by that time It'll be to late Cause the kids and I are gone.

This Is what I would often wonder but now I don't no more.
Cause after I forgave myself I live in peace for sure.
