I Would Bring You The Sun

I would bring you the sun.
To keep you warm.
To brighten your day.
To warm your heart.
If I could.

I would bring you the moon.
Just throw a lasoo.
And pull her in for you.
To light up your nights.
If I could.

I would bring you the stars.
I would fight Orion
For his belt and his sword.
To lay at your feet.
If I could.

A small and lovely poem. No false pretensions here but only a promise to put in honest efforts to bring on earth the celestial bodies which are so important for us. Thanks.
