I Wonder About Optimism And Pessimism Poem by Jim Yerman

I Wonder About Optimism And Pessimism

I wonder about the optimist and the pessimist, who look at birth and sigh...
The optimist thinks we begin to live, the pessimist...we begin to die.

While both views may be accurate, too much happiness would be missed
By viewing the world through pessimistic eyes...so I choose the optimist.
