I Wish Poem by Sandra Osborne

I Wish

Rating: 2.2

I wish we weren’t at war, I wish
there wasn’t any hunger, I wish every
child was loved, I wish there was no pollution,
I wish we had peace, I wish God talked more,
I wish I had a better car, I wish my sister
loved me, I wish George Bush had lost, I wish
his brother had too, I wish I was a better poet.
I wished upon a star once, I wished that
wishes meant something. It never came true.

So sad, but so true. I wish they meant something, too.
