I WISH

i wish you were here
i wish i could hear you say i love you
i wish i could hold you
i just wish you were here

i wish i could touch you
i wish i could see you
i wish this would never end
i wish you would care

i wish the tears would stop
i wish the pain would go away
i wish there was something more
i wish the scars would leave

i wish you would take the tears away
i wish you would hold me
i wish this would always be
i wish you would never hurt me

Wishes are the sanctity of life. Without wish life is a barren land where no seed sprouts. An excellent write. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

Conscience is instinct bred in the house,
Feeling and Thinking propagate the sin
By an unnatural breeding in and in.
