I Will Be Forgotten Poem by Shalom Freedman

I Will Be Forgotten

Rating: 5.0

I WILL BE FORGOTTEN

I will be forgotten
As almost everyone is
I strived for years
To be among the few remembered
By humanity
I did not make it
I like billions of others
Will have had my brief interval
And then go off into oblivion
As if I never were-

Unless that is, God wants otherwise
