I Will... Poem by Khoj Agarwal

I Will...

Let my feet lose the strength,
Let my figures lose the grip,
Let my tongue lose the flavor,
Let my eyes lose the sight,
I will still move forward.

Its ok to fall sometimes,
But stopping there is a crime.
Its ok to sit for a while,
But roads never stop, they travel miles.
Its ok to hold your knees, and see how far still you have to go,
Its not about strength, nor about time,
Its about your will, how far it can go.

Its ok to walk alone,
When its only yourself and you.
Its ok to walk in dark,
When your past is the only view.
Its ok to have no friend,
With whom you could share.
Its ok to not have anyone,
To return the care.

Its of to get scared,
And show the fear in you.
For becoming brave doesn’t mean fight the world,
It means to fight a part of you.

Its ok to lose, for winning brings an end,
Its ok to burn for a while and then make your own trend.

Let my fingers ignore to unite and make a hand,
Let my feet deny to hold my body,
Let my eyes betray the sight,
Let my heart take a break,
Then I won’t be able to run,
Nor will I be able to walk,
Still I will crawl
I will always move forward
