I Want Your Abortion Poem by Ramona Thompson

I Want Your Abortion

Rating: 2.3

There's pills that you can take
And there's doctors that you can see
There's way that you can trust
100 percent foolproof
And ones that you can't
There's litle things you can do
To make sure that the proof of our love affair never shows
Sometimes you tell me you'll do it
But you don't and that's just not gonna be the way it goes

I swear I won't let you
Won't believe any more of your lies
I don't want no more babies
Just look in my eyes
I'm not waiting any longer girl
Now that I know
The sticks turned blue and I've turned green
Every man wants his freedom
And this won't be where mine ends

I want your abortion
I want you to get one
I want your abortion

It's wrecking my mind
It's poisoning my soul
You're taking too much damn precious time
So why don't you just let me grab a coathanger and get it over with?
I'd really like to try
Oh I'd really love to know
For my peace of mind and my sanity
But you say you're gonna regret it
Than I beg and I plead
I tell you I love you
I'll even leave my wife to marry you
If you just would
Just once for me
But you damn ho
You still say no

I swear I won't let you
Won't believe any more of your lies
I don't need no bible
To tell me I'm wrong
No preacher preaching eternal damnnation in my ear
I'm not waiting any longer, lady
Out in the waiting room at the free clinic

I want your abortion
I want it out
I want your....abortion

It's natural
It's only fair
Please do it
It's logical
It won't hurt too much I swear
You better do it
It's the only way
But most of all...
An abortion is something we should do
An abortion is the only thing left for you and me

Abortion is natural
Abortion is good
Not every woman gets one
But every woman should
Abortion is natural
Abortion frees you to have some fun
Abortion is best when it's.....done for someone
Done for someone you love

I don't wanna be a father
I don't want my kids to have a half-brother
No sister either
I just wanna be a lover
C-c-c-c- come on

What gives you the right to choose?
Who do you think you are?
Lady, even God would't want you to have my baby
Don't you know how much you're hurtin' us honey?
Don't you think it's time you had an abortion for me?

What gives you the right to choose?
Who do you think you are?
Lady, even God would't want you to have my baby
Don't you know how much you're hurtin' us honey?
Don't you think it's time you had an abortion for me?

Abort that brat for me
Abort that brat for me
Please abort that brat for me
C-c-c-c-come on

Abortion is a TOUGH subject to deal with. I think it should be legal, but I also think men and women should be responsible to use what methods are available to avoid the 'need' for one.

'she' should just leave 'him' and try her luck and her baby's luck elsewhere!

Think of the life a kid might have if a father-to-be is so AGAINST having his 'woman' give birth. Coming into this world 'wanted' still doesn't guarantee a happy childhood and adulthood.

Even with dire health issues if pregnancies are continued, the women have run up against roadblocks, and some doctors fear penalties if they perform the operation. ; (

I also read that 3 women from Texas, where abortion is VERY restricted (esp. after the U.S. Supreme Court voted to repel Roe Vs. Wade) , ....have filed a law suit to protest the difficulties they've experienced when trying to ge abortions.
