I Want To Cry

I Want To Cry

Glory of this earth
ever on the zenith
Inverse goes
power in my eyes.

Keeping eyes closed
I robbed off their rights.
Sore over the loss,
they want to cry now.

I need a pair more
to see the slighted ones
Send me two more
So that I can cry,
their sorrow
thus I can share.

Let eons pass,
I shall wait and wait

Till such time
please keep me fit.

poet James Whitcomb Riley

There! little girl; don't cry!
They have broken your doll, I know;
And your tea-set blue,
And your play-house, too,
Are things of the long ago;
