I Walked Down Poem by Vera Sidhwa

I Walked Down

I walked down the sidewalk,
And tipped to the right.
The songs in my head blared,
And made it so tight.

I wanted to take a walk,
But walk as I may.
It turned into a song,
Whether that was right or wrong.

So I turned this sidewalk walk,
Into a stage.
My spry feet didn't tell my age.
I stepped betwixt and between the cement.

My walk was a walk of merriment.
I turned around to see,
Somebody behind me.
Was traipsing along just like me.
