I Walk Down The Road Toward Another Poem



I walk down the road toward another poem-
It will come before the road ends-
It is coming now
Surrounded as it often is by morning light-

I have made many poems in my life-
This is another one-
The one I am writing now-
Having stopped in the middle of the road
Before I get home.
