I Wait Where I Am Poem by Shalom Freedman

I Wait Where I Am

Rating: 4.8

I WAIT WHERE I AM

I wait where I am
Time is running out
Time has run out
I want to be young again
I cannot be
I try to begin again
I do not have it in me
It is done
And I have not succeeded
Life has gone
And I have failed
I wait where I am
And soon I will not even be here.
