I Wait Poem by Yolanda Wel

I Wait

Rating: 5.0

For him i wait, this solemn vow
To him I make.
When night falls and morning breaks
It is his love for which i wait.
When days seem to never end and nights are long i need my friend. I look above to the star lit sky and
Make a million wishes with every teardrop i cry. Because there is no mistake, it is for him i will wait.
Between each breath i take a whisper of his name softly breaks,
I patiently sit here hands folded in my lap awaiting His return to fill this lonely gap. Until my heart comes back ill wait for him i do not hesitate.. It is for him i will always wait.
