I Vow Poem by Sakib Choudhury

Every night before i close my eyes
I take a look at you and wonder
What i must have done to deserve
A special person like you
For you are truly unique to this world

i never tire of looking into those eyes
They fill me with such happiness
That no other can describe
So now i vow to you that i shall
Only let them see nothing but love
And to never bring sorrow
Whenever i gaze into them

As for that wonderful smile
That shines brighter then the sun
Washing away all the troubles
Life has thrown my way
So now i vow to always make you smile
And to never ever take it away

I love the fact that we can be together
For an entire day and not say a word
Just able to lose ourselves entirely
Into our own private world
Where we can hold eachother
And dwell in eachothers love

i vow that you will be the last person
I see before i sleep
And the first person i see when i wake
So i ask you this one thing
Will you marry me
And become my wife
For an eternity so we can be like
An endless melody
