I Vote For Peace Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

I Vote For Peace

Hell's march parades
mass military power
great armies stomping
up and down proud
pomp ceremony spectacles...

Latin ‘ceremonia'
awe reverent rite rituals
in modern empires
uniform devoted killers
trained in mass destruction...

I must be old fashioned
I see more value
in a well cooked meal
in the stomach
aid and care given

with compassion
in sickness or accidents
instead of a bullet in the brain
this view true holds
for me for both genders.

I vote no army no military globally.
