I try and understand the pain
But I see there is nothing to gain
They choose the life that they live
And all they need to do is forgive

They really don’t understand
That God has them in his hand
All they have to do is open their heart
And the pain will leave that has been there from the start

Open your heart and let in the new
Because you are chosen by God, and one of the few
Starting your life over is hard to understand
But doing it over you begin to realize it is God’s plan

So take each day as it comes your way
For this is God’s special plan for us today
And learn how to heal and forgive
So our lives will be straight and learn to live
