I Tried Poem by Jennifer Cook

I tried so hard,
I run,
I hide,
My weakness doesn't show,
Nor does my tear fall,
When things crumble,
I fall,
I rise up against the things I believe in,
I rise for my rights,
People shun me,
People yell at me,
I tried over and over again,
I tried to run,
No where to hide,
I tried to seek love,
But end up with heartaches,
I tried for you,
I tried for me,
In the end we were no match,
I am sorry the way things ended,
I am sorry for all the things I have said and done.
I am sorry.
