I Traveled The Wind Poem by Eleonor Santiago

I Traveled The Wind

I traveled the wind and cast out a spell
Of wishes and dreams where my heart has fell
Of sweetest music and fragrances of beautiful rose
Of love and adore and life and hopes

For i am befallen from many miles from the Fareast seas
For I am enchanted by faithful love and purest cares
For I am called to hold you tight and plant a deepest kiss
For I am summoned to chase away your fears and tears

‘Tis every moment, every hour, every day
‘tis the reason my heart beats with notes and lyrics and pray
‘tis the reality my soul shines to reach out for thine
‘tis the love divine my heart chimes of solemnity and rhyme

A joy I always find in you my heart
A sonnet I always write for you my sweetheart
A pain of emblem when I miss you so much
A pure heaven when I hear you whisper I too am your love

To wind I am in thee to blow a kiss with glee
To rain I am in thee to shower you with tickles and caress so free
To stars I am in thee to sparkle a joy in your heart
To sun and moon I am in thee to warm and make romance
and give our love the sweetest things we shall have in life
