I Told You So About President Barack Obama
I told you so about our current President.
He is a very special man, a man of hope
Who can walk shoulder to shoulder with any Pope.
The dictators should take note. The tyrants
Should rethink their strategies. The infamous ants
Should choose the right paths: Be tolerant,
Be democratic, be fair and just; that’s the way to go.
I told you so, I told you so.
We all want the world to be a better place,
We want Peace,
We want Justice,
We want to curtail global warming,
We want better days,
We want happier days,
We want the whole humanity
To enjoy much better living
Conditions,
We want to see ACTIONS,
We want liberty,
Freedom, no more hunger,
No more human slaughter,
No more nuclear weapons,
No more deadly harpoons,
No more suffering, no more slavery,
No more racism, no more discrimination,
No more false arrests, no more false accusations,
And no more arbitrary executions.
We all want our world to be a better place,
We want Peace,
We want Justice…
I told you so, I told you so,
And his Nobel Peace Prize
Has sealed his place in history.
Even Rush should rush to stop the lies;
Hence, this is the way to go.
He is a man of Peace and the whole humanity
Should give him a chance,
Give him more credence,
And Hope is always better than ignorance.
I told you so, I told you so…
i won't lie.. this poem brought a tear to my eye.. it is so true.. we all want this world to be full of peace and righteousness... and i believe with our president now, we are on our way, i haven't seen this much dedication to peace in a long, i think we need to stop being angry about what is not happening and focus on what is...
Very well written poem about Obama. Hope your words could change the world into better place to live in. With no terror, war, racism and suicide bombing. Although a long poem but flow is good and the message you are giving is excellent. Keep it up and transform the world into heaven with your words.

But you know the big one he has to deliver>>>as a true statesman and world of peace? peace in the middle east......some in the whitehouse will not let that happen...so alas, the wars will go on and on and on...he is a good man and an honest man, think he means what he says, good vision and brings hope......but politics is a dirty business and they would rather see him fail then fly........a dove shot down and the gift of world peace falls from her lips....................the hawks move on when she moves no more! ! ! !
