I thought it would be hard
I thought it would take forever
I thought it would never happen

Simply smile at me love
Can I have it back?
The weakness in my knees
Gaze into my eyes dear
Where is my melting soul?

Faded away?
I’ve lost my love
Where did it go?
It just packed up and went
One day
It sailed away
Leaving me
Empty
Fulfilled
Lost
Found

Hello best friend
I found one day
My love for you
Was gone
Can you believe it?
You don’t
Have to feel awkward
Have to avoid conversation
Have to hide away
Anymore

Isn’t it great?
My friend
You and me
Friends forever
No love to hinder
Our free laughter
No love to fight
The smoothness
No love to hide
My heart from you

I thought
I would love you forever
I guess I was silly
Young love
Blinded my clarity
