I The Lord Thy God, Mighty Deeds ….. Poem by Antonio Liao

I The Lord Thy God, Mighty Deeds …..

did I make the blue sky that holds you to wait
until it goes down

did I blew the wind that leap off, the feather of the
bird that flies up, up in the heaven clouds

did I paddle the wave and push to the seashore for
the fish can play

did I made those beautiful flowers blooms in the
early morning

did I turn, the rock into pieces of pebble for you
to see its beauty

did I guide the amazing stars in the night for you to
be happy

did I mold you so dearly, and everybody will look
at you with dignity and live with identity

did I crown your fingers and hair, making you the
mighty in all creation

did I hold your navel and lead your own way, for
you to choose the will to be free

did I make your dream open and let the paradise stay
in the heaven, a permanent residence for you and me

did I close your eyes and say that I will be your door
in the gate of everlasting life

Says the Lord thy God …… Amen
