I Talk To Dragonfly Poem by Ahmad Shiddiqi

I Talk To Dragonfly

Rating: 5.0

I talk to dragonfly
Why he seems so sad
Otherwise after receiving
A candy from the smiling angel

I talk to firefly
Why she seems so despair
Otherwise after giving
A silver ring to the sparkling demon

I talk to butterfly
Why he seems so anguish
Otherwise after singing
An Italian Aria to the silent saint

(dedicated to a great poet at poemhunter, Mr. Robert Pinsky)
