I stay awake at midnight
Staring at the moonbeams falling on my room
For I know it’s the only place
Where there is perfect light…….

I stare at the midnight stars
That blinks on the earth
Laughing & mocking at the lonely streets…
Whom nobody greets…

I stare at the floating clouds
That wander above us
Moving from place place
And carrying the emotions of all….

I stay awake at the midnight hour
To observe the earth’s glory & honor
Which gets lost in the daylight
Amidst chaos & daily figh
